The Superintendent of Schools may publish and distribute to parents and the general public newsletters or bulletins concerning various phases of the operation of the schools.
Information concerning various phases of the schools’ operations may be made available to local newspapers and other periodicals, t.v., radio, motion pictures, etc., through the Superintendent of Schools.
The Superintendent shall also have the authority to issue newspaper releases that have city-wide policy significance concerning the schools. However, the authority to release information relative to the activities of the Board of Education rests with the Chairperson of the Board in consort with Superintendent of Schools.
