Substitute Teachers

Minimum qualifications: 

  1. Previous experience working with children and a high school diploma or equivalent; or two (2) or more years of college. 

  1. Unless approved by the Superintendent, all long-term substitutes must be four-year college graduates, as well as certified in the subject area. 

  1. The responsibilities of a substitute teacher are outlined in the district Substitute Teacher Handbook.
