**SPMS Boys Soccer** We are without a bus driver this evening for the boys soccer games at Bonny Eagle. The games are cancelled. 7th grade practice is cancelled and the boys will go home at the conclusion of the school day. 8th grade will practice as normal.
**SPMS TENNIS** The SPMS Tennis Practice today is cancelled due to wet court conditions. Please have your student athlete head home on their normal transportation at the conclusion of the school day.
The Tennis Matches tomorrow are also CANCELLED due to no available bus driver. They will be rescheduled to 10/14, same time and location. The team will practice in place of this cancellation.
The King MS matches scheduled for Monday were moved to 10/7, 4pm starts, same place.

**SPMS ATHLETICS UPDATE** The following cancellations have been made for today, 9/28, for our SPMS fall sports: Girls Soccer game CANCELLED, Boys Soccer game CANCELLED, Tennis match CANCELLED, Field Hockey game CANCELLED. We are attempting to reschedule. All four teams will not practice today and will head home on their normal transportation. Cross Country practice will be held in the SPMS gym as normal.
Each year, National Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15 and honors Hispanic and Latino histories and cultures. To celebrate, the South Portland High School Learning Commons has a display with an assortment of books by Hispanic and Latino authors.
