National Poetry Month is wrapping up...and so is the City of South Portland's youth poetry contest! ✨✍🏼 South Portland High School and Middle School students: Enter the "Our Future South Portland" Poetry Contest! Unless there is a need for another school cancellation, the last day of school is scheduled to be June 13.

Thursday, April 17th: Today is an early release day. 7th & 8th grades are dismissed at 11:40 AM and 5th & 6th grades are dismissed at 12:30 PM. There are no athletics, clubs, or after school activities. School resumes on Monday, April 28th.

Wednesday, April 16th: Track and 7th grade baseball practices are cancelled today

Tuesday, April 15th Athletics Update: Boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, baseball & softball are cancelled today due to field conditions at Wainwright. Today is the first day of rain day rotations; track will practice in the gym.

Friday, April 11th: All sports will practice at Wainwright today. As a reminder, there is no track practice on Fridays.

The School Board is holding a meeting next week, Monday, April 14 at 6 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at South Portland High School.
