South Portland School families and community members are invited to take a tour of the High School stadium facilities on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Wednesday, October 16 at 4:00 p.m. Please meet at the ticket booth for the tour. During the tour, you’ll learn about the current status of the SPHS stadium and athletic facilities and hear about the proposed improvements. Attendance Awareness Month continues! School matters, and so does good attendance. 6% fewer students in the district missed a substantial amount of school last year than the year before, and we want to continue that success! What better place to learn about Maine coastal environments than Crescent Beach State Park? 🐚 🌊 🦪
Rising 6th-12th grade students explored the beach yesterday to learn more about local wildlife, ecosystems, habitats, food chains, weather, and climate as part of their summer program.







Summer hours are in effect at the District Office, which means that the District Office is closed on Fridays for this month: July 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th.
Operating hours for District Office hours are:
Monday–Thursday 7:30am - 4pm
Regular hours will resume in August.

All South Portland Schools will be closed today because of the continued impact of Saturday's storm.
